Taekwondo is an excit- ing and powerful form of martial arts renowned for its dynamic kick- ing and hand techniques. Cory McNallan, owner and fourth degree black belt, is passionate about teaching martial arts, which extends beyond attaining physical fitness and practicing self-defense. Cory’s mission is to shape success- ful human beings into true champi- ons who will ultimately help create a better world. Changing Lives Martial Arts offers exciting after school pro- grams and summer camps, which provide flexibility for working par- ents. The afterschool program allows children to unwind with fun games and activities before work- ing on homework. In addition, par- ticipants are able to take Taekwon- do classes, which are full of energy, physical activity and learning. The classes are structured to encourage children to reach for new goals and attain levels of proficiency. The year is divided into four semesters and each session is centered on explor- ing fun topics such as dinosaurs or the solar system and concludes with a graduation ceremony. After school programming is available from 3pm to 6pm for students in Kindergarten to 6th grade. Summer camp includes action packed days to keep your child happy and engaged all summer long. Camp days are diverse, chal- lenging, and fun. Complementing great physical exercise through martial arts training are gymnastics, constructive games, bully defense workshops, kid’s movies, arts and crafts and character building activi- ties. Summer field trips include trampoline centers, sports com- plexes, indoor rock climbing, local parks and amusements. Summer camp offers convenient early drop off and extended pick up hours. Changing Lives Martial Arts camp is the perfect solution for parents. Summer camp is available from 7am to 6pm for kids from 5 to 13 years old. The entire staff of Changing Lives Martial Arts is committed to more than just teaching self- defense by investing in the com- plete personal development of each student. Instructors take their responsibility seriously as role mod- els for younger students, teaching the importance of strong character, leadership and good values. The staff conducts “mat-chats” about showing respect at home and instilling the belief that students can realize their dreams. The amazing thing about Changing Lives Martial Arts is that everyone benefits. Parents are confident knowing their children are learning and having fun, and students love the classes and camps.
