ALL CHILDREN’S THEATRE “Where Every Child Is A Star” 973-335-5328 In an economic era of closing businesses there is one arts organization which is now in its 34th year in New Jersey and returns each and every summer to the Watchung Arts Center. It’s All Children’s Theatre . This small arts group has been at the Watchung Arts Center for 22 consecutive summers and will be returning, once again, in August, 2017 sponsoring two perform- ing arts day camps for boys and girls ages 6-17 at this air-conditioned site. The first session will be a Creative Dramatics Camp - July 31-August 11 where children create, develop, and write their own show and become performers in the show they create! Campers use their creativity and imaginations in develop- ing their final presentation which is shared with family and friends on the evening of the last camp day. The second session will be Broadway Kids - August 14-August 25 where children will be learning songs and dances from numerous Broadway Shows and culminate with a spectac- ular musical revue of Broadway with hats, canes and all that glitter! A percussionist joins the piano accompanist for dress rehearsal and show! The two camps are open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm and are supervised by state certi- fied teachers with experience in Children’s The- atre. In both camps the children design and paint the scenery used in their show. A special per- formance is held on the evening of the last day of each camp for family and friends. No prior theatre experience is required to register for either or both sessions. A discount is available for siblings as well as for campers who attend both sessions. All Children’s Theatre is New Jersey’s old- est, largest, regional year-round performing arts organization working exclusively with children ages 4-17. The nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)3 arts group is based in Parsippany but operates 5 camps in 4 towns in 3 counties and is responsi- ble for putting approximately 12,200 children on stage since 1983. For further information and to download a summer day camp reg- istration form visit their web site at: www.allchildrenstheatre.org or call their theatre office at (973) 335-5328. All Chil- dren’s Theatre is a charter member of the National Youth Theatre Association of America.
