TEMPLE SHOLOM 594 N. Bridge Street Bridgewater, NJ 08807 908-722-1339 www.temple-sholom.net L’SHANA TOVA! Temple Sholom wishes you and your families a very sweet New Year! For Temple Sholom, this is truly a new year of new faces. Building on the strong traditions that have made us a thriving synagogue in Somerset Coun- ty for almost fifty years, Temple Sholom is pleased to welcome our new Spiritual Leaders, Hebrew High School Directors and Temple Administrator into our congregational family. MEET… Rabbi Dan Selsberg, his wife Karen and their three young sons joined us this summer from Ontario, Canada, where the rabbi is credited with turning around the temple and being an exceptional leader for the past ten years. Rabbi Selsberg is known for engaging and serious classes, rele- vant and humorous sermons, and an ability to connect with people across the synagogue community, from chil- dren to seniors, and from long-time temple-goers to blended families searching for their place in the Jewish community. MEET… Cantor Vadim Yucht brought his amazing voice, musical tal- ent, and warm heart to Temple Sholom in 2014. Most recently the Cantor of the Morristown Jewish Center, Cantor Yucht was born in the Ukraine, became a cantor while living in Israel, and later received an M.A. in Jewish Education at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. In his short time here, he has formed an adult choir, a youth band and seamlessly weaves both traditional and modern tunes into our services. MEET… Marisa and Matthew Bergman, co-directors of our award- winning Hebrew High School, met as young adults at Temple Sholom and attended Hebrew High together. Both Marisa and Matthew are educators who are combining their passion for teaching with their love of the Temple Sholom c o mm u n i t y . Their innovative, ruach-filled, and c o mm u n i t y - focused ideas are sure to be a hit with teens. MEET… Dorit Yehudai, our always smiling Temple Administrator, joined us earlier this year and has brought loving kindness to our front door. Dorit brings years of temple experi- ence to our family, but more importantly, she embodies the heart of our congregation. These new faces of Temple Sholom are eager to see your face, get to know you, and learn how we can help you and your family find what you are look- ing for, both spiritually and communally. GET TO KNOW… Temple Sholom, an inclusive and egalitarian Conserva- tive congregation of 400 families locat- ed five minutes from Bridgewater Commons Mall. We are a community of singles, seniors, young, blended, and traditional families – everyone is welcome.
