Featured from our Business/Professional community this issue are: Connie Napolitano-Coldwell Banker, The Bernards Salon, Friend With A Camera, Café Azzurro, Cocoluxe Fine Pastries, Paul Miller Porsche, School of St. Elizabeth, Aurora Kitchens & Interiors, The Kitchen Classics, Decorating Den Interiors, Tick Tackler, LLC, Jeff Cogan Drum Les- sons, The Vested Interest, Senior Assistants, Boun- tiful Home & Gardens, LiLy Day Spa and G.A. Landscape Design & Assoc. Our talented writers have given us unique insight into these businesses and their respective owners. Local artist, Michael Zambelli, adorns our front cover with an acrylic on panel entitled, “Giac and the Blue Citroen.” He states, “As an artist, I only paint im- ages that speak to me in some fashion. It might be an old automobile, an awkward looking mail truck, or a structure that has seen better days. They all tell a story in my mind. Recently a good friend showed me a photo of her grandson Giac sitting in a pedal car. I was imme- diately struck by the fact that the pedal car was a vin- tage Citroen. I associate real Citroens with my childhood when I was living in Italy in the 1960’s. It’s a car that I always found fascinating because of its ad- vanced design and technology. The look on Giac’s face also resonated with me. As he glances over at the far more common Cozy Coupe, he seems so proud of his Citroen, a feeling that I know I would have shared when I was a child. I rarely paint people but as soon as I saw the photo, I knew I had to paint Giac and his won- derful gleaming blue Citroen.” Michael has an amazing bio on page 8, please enjoy reading it.
