Kris Reece
With 23 years in the fitness industry, Kris
Wade knows a thing or two about what
people want. And it’s
NOT
a sweaty, crowd-
ed, loud and impersonal environment to
work out in!
Having taken her vision to Warren 11
years ago as an at-home personal trainer,
Kris opened “Kris Wade Fitness,” her beau-
tiful studio, 8 years ago. As the world of fit-
ness evolved, and her client’s needs along
with it, Kris is excited to be re-launching as
High Point Personal Training.
The first question I had, with so many
gyms in the area, was “How is

different than the com-
petition?” But I really didn’t need Kris to
answer that! Entering the lobby is more like
a spa than a gym. A warm and friendly
greeting from one of the trainers makes
walking into this space inviting and com-
fortable. Then, a smiling, energetic Kris and
I sat down to discuss what really makes
High Point Personal Training
such a
unique place to be.
The first goal of
High Point Personal
Training
is to provide the best in customer
service. How can Kris and her team help
you? The needs and emotions of clients are
always changing, and the personal atten-
tion given to members here reflects that.
Kris has redefined the new trend in
semi-private training. Instead of just being
in a group of two to five people all doing
the same exercises, Kris and her trainers
customize a workout for each and every
client. Your training sessions will reflect
your strengths, weaknesses and goals, as
each client has his or her own personalized
program. Everyone who works out at
High
Point Personal Training
is treated as an
individual. While the exercising will be rig-
orous, all of the trainers here are caring and
nurturing, aware of each client’s goals and
needs. This is so important, especially to
somebody new to exercise. The environ-
ment here is not one of intimidation, but
rather, motivation.
All of the trainers at

are
NASM
(
National Acad-
emy of Sports Medicine) certified, with
advanced certificates in personal training.
To work here, a trainer needs to work with
Kris for 3 weeks before ever seeing a client,
and then continue a 3-month training pro-
gram with her. This ensures that all clients
are equally able to have the same high-
quality experience each and every time they
come to the gym, no matter what day or
time. This is a huge bonus to
High Point
Personal Training.
clients!
And speaking of day and time…here is
another difference! Each member has to
make an appointment whenever coming to
the gym. This includes training as well as
using the many choices of cardio equip-
ment. That way, there is always some
supervision, and clients’ busy schedules are
never compromised. Most clients come
twice a week, but memberships are individ-
ually priced depending on your goals and
availability. Many of Kris’ clients have been
coming here since the doors opened.
Why? Because Kris feels that people want
to be accountable for their fitness. No, she
can’t come to your house and drag you out
of bed, but she can hold you to the sched-
uled times and days you booked, inspiring
you to look forward to coming back the
next time.
Kris has been inspiring athletes since she
was seven years old, rounding up the
neighborhood kids in her apartment com-
plex in South Jersey to go for a run! A high
school track star, and ice-skater, Kris has
now added Ballroom Dancing to her exten-
sive repertoire. In addition to all of her edu-
cation in the fitness field, she also holds a
certificate in nutrition, although she refers
clients to others if they have any specialized
nutritional needs.

ally gives back to the Warren community,
generously donating to all of the local
schools, churches and temple fundraisers.
A dog-lover, Kris is an active participant of
Rawhide Rescue, organizing fitness walks
and donating to their many charitable
events. She is a mom, a step-mom, a dog-
mom, and an active, busy woman! Kris’
vision of providing high-quality fitness in a
clean, comfortable environment has cer-
tainly come to fruition here in Warren.
