Jen’s Mutt Hutt Too , located at 25 Perry Street in Chester, is committed to making each grooming experience a great one. The upbeat moxie shared between owner/primary groomer Jennifer and her canine clientele is unpar- alleled. “Being a groomer allows me to be around animals all day and be creative in a field that’s changing all the time,” said Jen- nifer regarding the sprightly bond she shares with every pooch. “I have been taking my dog there for over two years. He is a difficult dog adopted from a very abusive home with scars and bites. They have been so patient and great,” said a repeat client. Starting as a “bather,” Jennifer realized how much she cherished the time she spent with animals. She began pursuing her passion fulltime by attending grooming school and studying individually with a seasoned Master Groomer.I
n 2009, she opened Jen’s Mutt Hutt and in 2013 opened Jen’s Mutt Hutt Too . Jennifer and her staff of eleven experienced groomers and bathers use an organic oatmeal-based shampoo that provides nourish-
ment to both hair and skin. The soothing oatmeal properties are great for grooming dogs with sensitive skin. They believe in a good, old-fashioned scrub down and hand dry, but also offer com-
plete spa treatments to pamper

minute appointments and walk-
ins are welcome, and if you’d like to get your pet’s nails clipped you can bring them in without an appointment. Cats are also wel-
come on Wednesday and Friday as those are the slower days and the staff can provide a stress-free environment for them. Aside from grooming, the team at Jen’s Mutt Hutt Too is active in the Big Dog Rescue Project, an initiative that rescues dogs from kill shelters. Each month Jennifer
hosts an adoption event to find loving homes for these animals in need and supports the BDR Proj-
ect by selling t-shirts and tote bags with 100% of the proceeds donated to them. Jen’s Mutt Hutt Too is an establishment providing high-cal-
