Local artist, Sien Lewis, adorns our cover with an acrylic on canvas entitled, “The Nest.” She re- flects, “This Robin’s nest was in a tree at my old home in Martinsville. I climbed a ladder to check on the eggs and was taken back by how beautiful they were. Standing on the ladder, I photographed the scene from above and then decided to at- tempt to recreate what I saw as I peered down upon the nest.” Sien also creates her own line of hand cast jewelry called Sien C Designs.
