Having worked with his father and grandfather throughout his life, Sam is the 3rd gen- eration in a legacy of high end residen- tial construction and remodeling. After a formal college education with a busi- ness background, he earned his certifi- cation as a Journeyman (industry term for a Master of Carpentry) from the New Jersey School of Carpentry in 2004. Strong dedication to his craft com- bined with prior knowledge of con- struction, Awadalla learned all aspects of residential construction before hon- ing his nitch in windows and door replacement. In 2003, he started his first business, 360 Degree Construc- tion, which focused primarily on the installation of windows and doors, specifically with Pella, Marvin, and Ply- Gem. He was so successful that he eventually widened his business to include the design aspect of residential construction, thus in 2010 360 Design Center was born, and his lifelong dream had finally been attained. Hav- ing already been in the business of installing the best products in windows and doors, Awadalla became a licensed, trained, and insured retailer of Pella Windows & Doors and Marvin Windows & Doors. Within the past six months, 360 Design and 360 Degree Construction has again expanded on their services to include retailing of garage doors and installation. Sam Awadalla will arrive at a home and immediately know how to provide the best services to fit his customers needs. He is not in favor of “hard sale tactics,” but committed to “old- school” values of honesty, hard work, and letting the products and crafts- manship sell themselves. While Pella and Marvin both are the finest prod- ucts on the market of windows and doors, Awadalla will never try to sell his customers on something out of their price range, and offers Ply-Gem prod- ucts as an affordable alternative. 360 Design is always keeping the customer in mind. Paramount to all of Awadalla’s success is his commitment to his customers, the products he sells, and his team, which is reflected in his work ethic. He is involved in the whole process of the business, from contract negotiation to sales to the finished product, and is always on the job with his team of installers, all of whom have been with him since the beginning. The workmanship of 360 Design and 360 Degree Construction is guaran- teed for 10 years, however even after 10 years, Awadalla is committed to his projects and loyal to his customers. As a licensed home improvement busi- ness, he provides liability insurance on all of his jobs and workmen’s compen- sation to all of his customers – an attribute that usually gets tossed to the side as many business owners look to cut corners to save money. Recently this year, 360 Design Cen- ter and 360 Degree Construction completed a project on a home in Tewksbury that Awadalla is most proud of, as it reflects his commitment to his customers in addition to the prestige of his craft. The historic home was over 200 years old, with all the original doors and windows still in the house. It was important to the homeowners that they preserve the authentic colo- nial style of the house. With each sin- gle pane window and door being a dif- ferent size throughout the house and 14 inch deep stone walls, it was a chal- lenging job but rewarding at the end. “Sam, you’ve exceeded our expecta- tions,” the homeowners told him, which is music to his ears, as there is nothing more rewarding to hear from a customer.
