Local artist, Linda Quinn, adorns our front cover with an oil on canvas entitled, “Hiding From Storm Sandy.” Linda’s inspiration for this piece about a fawn hiding behind a log was a reminder of how she felt after Hurricane Sandy hit the area. Following a career in advertising, creating marketing concepts for major consumer products companies, Quinn decided to direct her creative talents to fine art. She has been commissiond to paint golf course scenes, artwork for book jackets, event invitations and various other local venues.
