Runny nose, fever, aches and pains…or the weekend warrior overdid it. What to do? The doctor’s office is closed until Monday. Wait for Mon- day or go to the ER? Waiting for hours in a cramped ER is not your idea of an ideal Friday night. Let one of our doctors and staff help you feel better. Our medical staff is led by Dr. Harold Ehrlich who has over 30 years of experi- ence. After running the Warren Medicenter for three decades, Dr. Ehrlich joined AFC/Doctors Express in 2014. When Dr. Ehrlich is not in the facility, there is always one of our other doctors all of whom have decades of experience helping patients. Our caring Nurses and kind X-Ray Techs help make your visit to AFC Urgent Care a pleasant as possible. We are open 8am to 8pm during the week and 8am to 5pm on the weekends so you can come in when it is convenient to you – no appointment needed. While the average emergency room visit in the U.S. currently exceeds 2 hours, our average visit from registration to discharge is under an hour. Whether you are just feeling under the weather or you fell and need an x-ray, our physicians are ready to help. From a cold/allergies to coughing to scrapes and cuts to a fall, we have you covered. At AFC Urgent Care in Bound Brook, NJ we are open 7 days a week. AFC understands that each patient’s time is valuable. If you cannot get in to see your primary doctor, you can come in to be seen. We use electronic medical records so your records can be sent over to your doctor in an instant. We are conveniently located just off 287, Exit 13 in the Shop-Rite shopping center parking lot on the corner of Tea Street and Union Avenue (Rt. 28). With plenty of parking you will not have to search for a parking spot. Even if you are traveling we have you covered with 11 locations throughout NJ with more opening soon. Not only are people being treat- ed faster, but they are also paying less. Typically, a visit to an AFC clin- ic is 70-80% less than a visit to an emergency room. We accept almost all insurance including Hori- zon Blue Cross, Aetna, United, Oxford, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and Cigna. Additionally, we have deeply discounted rates for patients that do not have insurance. Our other services include DOT physicals, Workers Comp and Occu- pational Medicine and School Phys- icals as well as Travel Medicine and we never require an appointment. We are in the process of chang- ing our name from Doctors Express to AFC Urgent Care. Other than the signs you will not see any other changes…same local ownership, same doctors and staff, same copays and we accept the same insurance plans.
