Pistachio Pudding Dessert

Ingredients

Pie Crust

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Layer One

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8oz) cream cheese
  • 1 cup cool whip

Layer Two

  • 2 regular sized pkgs, instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk

Topping

  • cool whip
  • chopped almonds

Instructions

  1. Mix butter, flour, nuts

  2. Press into a rectangular pan

  3. Bake on 350 degrees for 20 minutes

  4. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese and cool chip

  5. Spread when the crust is cool

  6. Beat together pudding mix and milk until thick

  7. Spread on cream cheese layer

  8. Top with a layer of cool whip and chopped nuts

  9. Keep it in the refrigerator

Recipe Notes

You can make it with lemon pudding mix too.
