The exhibit will be curated by Nancy Ori of Berkeley Heights and Ann Merten of Bridgewater.
Lower Gallery: Susan Evans Grove, Artist
Susan Evans Grove’s work addresses how we relate to each other and our physical environment. Though her images rarely contain people, they describe how people live and bear the mark of the people who inhabit the spaces she photographs. Ms. Grove’s work is profoundly American in that it focuses on issues of material possessions and perceived status in American culture. “Make and Model” includes two bodies of work. In the “Suburban Sprawl” series Grove documents the spread of oversized housing now occupying what was once farmland. The second, “Used Cars”, is a series of images recorded on the surface of automobiles. Visit www.susanevansgrove.com

Also during the month of December, the WAC Studio will host the 21st Annual Children’s Juried Art Show for students ages 4 – 17.
