outstanding educational background
with degrees from top dental schools
in both London and New York, many
years of experience as an associate in
other dental practices and a firm desire
to make a difference in her community
by serving clients in her own unique
way lead Dr. Mirza to create a practice
centered on her patients’ well being.
From the moment patients enter the
office boutique the difference is palpa-
ble. She hopes to entice them to trans-
form their negative attitudes about vis-
iting the dentist into positive ones. It’s
a brilliant way to encourage everyone
to smile! “No one should feel that a
dental check-up is a chore,” she
explains, "Rather everyone should
want to visit me because they know
the experience will be a pleasure
regardless of the procedure they’re
having.” To this end she employs a
myriad of state-of-the-art practices,
techniques and comforts to ensure
everyone leaves her office smiling.
The office suite’s design and color
scheme, inspired by Dr. Mirza’s British
upbringing and daughters Aarah 5,
and Amirah 3, are minimalist in style
yet very warm and inviting. Everything
has been selected to optimize the
experience; from reclining massage
dental chairs, to flat screen TV’s and a
beautifully appointed rest room, no
detail has been left out. Dr. Mirza’s
husband, Asad, added his technical
expertise to make the office eco-
friendly. Magazines are on e-tablets,
younger patients can play with appro-
priate kid-friendly applications and all
record keeping and imagery is digitized
in this ultra modern office setting.
Dr. Mirza’s range of expertise
includes all areas of general and cos-
metic dentistry for the entire family.
From simple oral hygiene visits to more
complex cases involving bonding,
porcelain veneers, inlays and onlays,
implants, crowns, bridges and invisible
braces, Dr. Mirza enjoys the challenge
of solving each case like a puzzle, put-
ting all the elements together in the
right places to create the most opti-
mum result. In dentistry being even a
millimeter off in a case can make a sig-
nificant difference. She continually
sharpens her skills keeping up to date
with continuing education courses that
keep her abreast of newly emerging
technologies. She utilizes only the high-
est standard of quality dental equip-
ment to aid her in diagnosis and treat-
ment. For example, intraoral cameras
provide highly defined clear imaging
details that could be missed by an ordi-
nary mirror exam. Better diagnostics
can translate to less time at the dentist!
Dr. Mirza is also community minded.
She loves going into local schools dur-
ing Dental Health Month in February to
teach children what is and isn’t good
for their teeth. There are probably
many readers who still remember smil-
ing with the life-sized tooth at Dr.
Mirza’s information booth during the
Lions Expo this past June. She plans to
continue to reach out to the communi-
ty in ways like these to encourage
good oral health for all.
Dr. Mirza welcomes personal inter-
