Just like the neighborhood that sur-

elegant at the same time. Although

people come from all over to enjoy

the food and ambiance, the mainstay

of the business is the locals who

know a good thing when they see it

and keep coming back for more.

in one of Liberty Corner’s renovated

buildings on the main street through

town. Just like Liberty Corner, it

embraces the history of the area. It is

the only restaurant in downtown

that offers outdoor seating which is

available for three seasons, thanks to

outdoor heaters. Diners can enjoy

the feel of the town while savoring

their delectable dishes.

Indoors, the building has main-

tained its historic feel by keeping

small rooms for dining which lend

privacy for its patrons. Throughout

the restaurant, there are pictures of

the building and the area from the

local historic society that are great

conversation pieces for those who

are interested. Upstairs, there is a

larger room that is popular for pri-

vate parties and large groups.

The reality, however, is that the

success of the restaurant is because

of its food. As Nick Berisha, the

owner, stated, “It is all about food.”

Nick comes from a family that has

owned, and continues to own, sever-

al restaurants in the area. He knows

that people around here have a lot of

great options for places to dine out,

so it is essential that a restaurant offer

dishes that are delicious and made

with the finest ingredients in order to

appeal to a sophisticated crowd.

Focacceria’s

menu is filled with

great dishes that are a combination

of ingredients bringing together

unexpected flavors with some old

favorites. None of these dishes

would work as well as they do, how-

ever, if the basic ingredients were not
