Owners Dave Quinn and Miguel
Cardenas bought the deli two years
ago and since then the team has
turned the business around. They
attribute their success to their dedica-
tion to customer service and providing
excellent food in every category.
Dave and Miguel have a long histo-
ry in the restaurant business. Dave
owned the Cheese Shop in Upper
Montclair for 20 years and for 10 of
them Miguel was the manager. When
Dave decided to sell the business and
return to his accounting career the
two separated for a while, only to dis-
cover that they really missed what
they loved most, serving the public in
a restaurant. After careful research the
team discovered the
Warren Deli,
which had been a town staple since
the 80’s but unfortunately its glory
days had passed. Dave and Miguel
saw this as the perfect opportunity to
put their experience and talent to
work. Now in its third year under new
management the restaurant is once
again a local treasure.

Sandwich temptations like the
“
Longhorn,” grilled, chopped steak
topped with mozzarella served on
fresh gourmet bread, several innova-
tive south of the border inspired cre-
ations, all types of grilled pressed
paninis, wraps, subs, triple deckers,
sloppy joes and more. Lighter fare
including homemade soups created
by a graduate of the Culinary
Institute, specialty salads and refresh-
ing smoothies make ordering for any
dietary requirement and budget easy.
