Dr. Douglas Haymaker, a licensed
Clinical Psychologist, has been in
practice since 1991. He has helped
thousands of adults, couples, chil-
dren and families with a wide range
of difficulties including anxiety,
depression, trauma, marital discord,
and child and adolescent behavior
problems. His specialty areas include
relationship issues and marital thera-
py, life transitions including loss and
divorce, issues related to alcohol and
substance abuse, psychological eval-
uations, educational evaluations for
learning disabilities and treatment
for memory problems and AD/HD.
In addition to his private practice,
Dr. Haymaker serves as clinical super-
visor for the Graduate School of
Applied and Professional Psychology
at Rutgers University. He frequently
speaks to schools, churches and For-
tune 500 companies regarding psy-
chological matters. He is a graduate
of Brown University and the doctoral
program in Clinical and Health Psy-
chology at the University of Florida.
Dr. Haymaker said, “We have the
experience to help people with a very
wide range of issues, and have the
resources to refer patients to other
professionals in the area including
psychiatrists, physicians, and nutri-
tionists when necessary.”
Dr. Stephanie Haymaker is a clini-
cal psychologist with over 20 years of
experience. She maintains a general
practice where she sees adults, chil-
dren and adolescents for a wide vari-
ety of issues including anxiety,
depression, relationship issues, mat-
ters specific to women, OCD,
AD/HD, the chronically ill, and eating
disorders. For over eight years, she
served as the Eating Disorders and
Adolescent Specialist at the Universi-
ty of Medicine and Dentistry of New
Jersey. Her approach is tailored to the
individual, and she takes an active
role in working to identify what the
issues are, and what may be helpful
to address them. Dr. Haymaker said,

ble, easy to talk to, and well-
equipped to join them on their ther-
apeutic journey.”
Dr. Haymaker is a Phi Beta Kappa
graduate of New York University and
the doctoral program in Clinical and
Health Psychology at the University
of Florida. She co-authored the
book,
Principled Commitment,
a
manual for enhancing marital satis-
faction. She is also a consultant for
the Department of Labor, with
expertise in the area of disability
assessment.
