Wow, what fun this shop is!
I now have a new favorite place
for gifts and my holiday shopping. I
recently had the distinct pleasure to
meet Sharon Markowitz, proprietor
of
The Rebecca Collection
locat-
ed at 2 Mine Brook Road in
Bernardsville. You know… the
store with all those creative and
interesting signs we all read while
sitting in the car at the Mt. Airy
Road traffic light. The sign collec-
tion spans a wide range from inspi-
rational words to the hilarious. Per-
sonalized custom made signs can
be ordered and will definitely be on
my gift giving list this year.
The Rebecca Collection
is a
great resource for party favors –
please stop in, Sharon has many
unique party favor ideas to share
with you. You’ll find funky dresses,
tee shirts and colorful clothing, all
slightly ahead of the fashion curve.

offers
jewelry, personalized metal name
necklaces, really cool, creative vin-
tage bottle cap necklaces and
beautiful one-of-a-kind photo
greeting cards. There are gift items
for newborn babies and gift bas-
kets for any occasion or even if you
need to donate a themed basket to
a tricky tray fundraiser. Sharon
believes strongly in supporting local
artists, and offers many products
which are crafted locally. You can’t

The Rebecca Collection,
you’ll find high quality candles,
room diffusers, lotions and shower
gels with beautiful relaxing scents –
all reasonably priced. Delicious
chocolates and chocolate covered
pretzels make thoughtful corporate
gifts. Sharon can save you valuable
time by gift wrapping your pur-
chases – she considers gift wrap-
ping an ‘art form’ and will wrap
with TLC. There are items in the
store that a portion of the sale goes
to support charities like the New-
mark School, which will be built as
an educational facility for children
living with autism and other disabil-
ities.
While you are visiting, you may
be drawn to the full sized video
games in the shop and you may
even be tempted to play a quick
game of Pac Man…well…feel free
to do so! Sharon’s husband, Sandy
is a game room specialist and sells
amusement games. You can own
your very own pinball machine,
pool table, jukebox and even the
ever-classic Pac Man! Sandy offers
consultations and sales for any-
thing you can imagine for your
