Beverly Nowakowski
Beverly Nowakowski
is a fun and gifted pho-
tographer who resides
and works in New Jer-
sey. A former account-
ant and current mother
of three young children,
Beverly has married her
two roles and experi-
ences into her profes-
sion as a photographer.
”
My job as an
accountant for 23 years meant being
organized and meticulous. I learned the
skills necessary to start my own business.
As a mother of three young children
today, I’ve learned to be flexible and
spontaneous.”
Beverly left her job as an accountant 9
years ago because she wanted to be
home for her children.
Like most doting moms, she found
herself taking a lot of pictures.
“
Being a mom reminded me that the
little moments in life can be the best
moments. Children grow and change so
quickly.”
But it was frustration and determina-
tion which drove Mrs. Nowakowski to
her work as a professional photographer.
“
There were no pictures of me! I was
the designated family photographer
starting in my middle school years so I
had pictures of family and friends, but
none of me. I WAS the friend with a
camera! As I got older, I knew there was
a need for my skills and my business. I
had few pictures of my children and me.
I knew that there had to be other moth-
ers who were missing from family pic-
tures because they too were always busy
taking them.”
The more she investigated, the more
Beverly learned that she needed to help
busy mothers especially. In 2012 she
decided to formerly establish
Friend
With A Camera, LLC.
And she loves her
role as the family “histo-
rian” for her clients.
“
I love what I do! I
get to attend family
weddings, birthdays and
celebrations and capture
the smiles and love at
those events to preserve
them forever!”
In addition to her
personal experience, her impeccable tim-
ing to capture the right shots,
Friend
With a Camera
provides a nice balance
between work and motherhood.
“
I can plan my work schedule around
my kids’ schedules. That’s a great perk.”
Friend With a Camera
works inde-
pendently in Central and Northern New
Jersey, or in conjunction with event plan-
ners and party organizers.
“
I’ve heard it again and again – mem-
ories are lost forever because pictures are
not taken.”
I lost my camera before the Anniver-
sary party.
I forgot to bring my camera to the
Christening.
I brought my camera but the memory
card is full.
That’s why my clients hire and depend
on me.
“
My work is fun and casual. I get to
be a guest at your party and observe
moments that MUST be captured – a lov-
ing embrace, a gentle smile, a tender
kiss. Then I upload those moments and
my clients can choose their favorites or a
whole package. It’s that easy.”

Beverly at bev@friendwithacamera.com
or call her at 908-208-1361 and ask how
she can help you keep your memories in
print.
“
Cherish the moments for they too, become memories.”
