Looking for a different dining
option in the Warren/Watchung
area? Want to try something new
around town?
Carnitas Taco Fac-
tory
has recently opened in a cozy
corner of the Village Square Mall
and owner Rick Angelica would
love to entice you with his fresh,
delicious creations. Rick has put a
new spin on “fast, casual” dining!
Carnitas Taco Factory
is not a
chain or a franchise. It is the unique
vision of its owner. Walk in and you
will be met with the wonderful aro-
mas of marinated meats grilling,
melted cheeses, and fresh spices.
The interior is trendy, sleek, and
simple and there are several out-
door picnic tables for al fresco
enjoyment. Ingredients for burritos,
tacos, and quesadillas are on dis-
play in front of the open air
kitchen. Meals are put together
“
assembly-line” style, and include
the usual treats, with a wide assort-
ment of fresh salsas and sides.
Meats and fish selections include
char-grilled chicken and steak, beef
brisket, ground beef, shredded
pork, and lime marinated white
fish. There are also many vegetari-
an options. Everything is prepared
fresh at the 41 Mountain Boulevard
location and pricing is moderate
and very affordable.
Rick Angelica has even incorpo-
rated a fun Kid’s Menu, including
“
Walking Tacos.” Kids choose
between a bag of Doritos or Fritos
which are then hand-smashed with
their choice of fresh toppings. This
innovative menu item is served
right from the bag with a spoon!
Your finicky eaters will LOVE it!
Carnitas Taco Factory
is a great
spot for a casual, quick lunch or
dinner. It is ideal for an easy and
inexpensive family night out. The
restaurant is open daily from 11-7.
Even on Sundays! It is perfect for
those evenings you don’t feel like
cooking in. Or consider hosting a
party at “The Factory.” You may
decorate the eating area, and
reserve as many tables as necessary
to accommodate your guests. They
are sure to love the food – Rick
even offers an “all-you-can-eat”
option. Children’s birthday parties
could also be a lot of fun and
uniquely celebrated at
Carnitas
Taco Factory.
Owner Rick Angelica invites
everyone to stop in and sample his
wonderful recipes. He is also expe-
rienced in corporate catering, and
can help you or your office organ-
ize a great event. Back yard barbe-
cues are also a big hit. Let
Carnitas
Taco Factory
bring in the great
food, setups, and staff and you will
enjoy your own party! Just add the
margaritas! Menus and additional
catering options and packages
can be explored on the website
www.CarnitasTacoFactory.com.
Rick Angelica lives with his wife
Chantal in Bridgewater. Originally
from Massachusetts, he attended
Rutgers and settled in New Jersey.
But he grew up in a “foodie fami-
ly.” His family owned an Italian
restaurant and his dad was an
executive chef in New Jersey. Rick
has been around food most of his
life…cooking, eating, and learning
to pleasure palates. Give him an
opportunity to entertain YOUR
taste buds! Visit
