LOIS ALLEN
SCHOOL OF
THE DANCE
387
Route 28
Bridgewater
Is your teen or child the future
star of a Broadway musical or a
future contestant on “So You
Think You Can Dance?” Well if
so, come on down to
Lois Allen
School of the Dance.
We spe-
cialize in working with students,
whether it is the first time
they’ve taken a class or if it’s
their hundredth time in a studio.
Lois Allen School of the
Dance
is a family owned dance
studio, which started with a
founding location in Clark, NJ in
1955
by Lois Allen. Lois then
passed on her studio to her
daughter Loralyn and she and
her family, with the continued
help of her mother, run the stu-
dio in both Clark and in the
newest location BRIDGEWATER.
Loralyn grew up around
dance and it is her mission to
provide the same loving family
friendly environment that she
had when she was younger cou-
pled with the discipline and
technique to create strong con-
fident dancers and performers.
Loralyn also is a member of the
American Dance Teachers of NJ
and attends various workshops
to insure her dances are always
on the cutting edge.
The Bridgewater location is
happy to be celebrating its third
anniversary and is very proud to
be offering a few new classes in
addition to the fan favorites.
Irish dancing will be taught by
two time world Irish dancing
and three time North American
Irish dance champion, Timothy
Kochka. Tim graduated with an
MFA from Montclair University
and has also performed with
“
Riverdance” and with the cast
of “The Pirate Queen” on
Broadway.
Lois Allen School of
the Dance
also has its musical
theatre department offering an
array of classes ranging from
improvisation to private singing
lessons. All musical theatre
classes are taught by, Samantha
Gelnaw. Sam is a SAG-AFTRA
actress with a background in
voice and acting in both film tel-
evision as well as stage. Best
known for her role in the Award
winning film “Silver Linings Play-
book” among other T.V. and
film titles. Samantha graduated
from Manhattanville College
with a double major.
Lois Allen School of the
Dance
has a variety of dance
classes all taught by present and
former dancers. All are certified
by Dance Educators of America
and are all highly experienced
friendly and fun. The Bridgewater
studio is already starting registra-
tion for fall classes and looks for-
ward to welcoming your family to
learn, laugh and perform with
ours. Please call the studio at 908-
218-5038
or check out our web-
site www.LoisAllenDance.com for
