Julie Biondi
Just a spoon full of sugar makes
the medicine go down? Not sure
about that, Mary Poppins. Howev-
er, one thing the vivacious and
beloved nanny had down pat was
the perfect combination of adora-
tion and finesse when approach-
ing child care duties. Sans a magi-
cal umbrella and bottomless tote
bag, the seasoned staff at
Choice
Care
has also perfected the art of
providing child care services.
Julie Biondi, founder and owner
of the 23 year old company, has a
knack for matching people’s spe-
cial abilities with specific needs.
Choice Care,
initially based in
Westfield and now stationed in the
Morristown area as well, places
baby nurses, nannies and execu-
tive housekeepers with families
across the grid.
The agency has had the pleas-
ure of working with a number of
families whose parents range from
corporate executives to profession-
al athletes.
Choice Care
has also
had the unique opportunity to
staff special events, charities, non-
profit organizations and even
cruise ships. Julie works with fami-
lies during their travels as well
never compromising the caliber of
child care providers. Needless to
say, the services at
Choice Care
are hardly limited.
Due to the extensive selection
process including pre-screenings,
interviews, background checks,
references and CPR and first aid
certifications,
Choice Care
has
placed upwards of 6,000 child care
givers in their lifespan.
“
My vision was and always is to
help people and find the best in
people,” explained Julie who is a
mother herself. Being one of five
children, Julie highly regards the
nurturing upbringing she received
from her mother who also worked
diligently with
Choice Care
for
many years. “She was the best
mother. She was devoted to her
children and imprinted in my being
what consistent love and care is.
This has enabled me to search out
this exemplary quality in others,”
said Julie.
Not only does
Choice Care
strive to place nannies with the
right families, but they also consid-
er the needs of the nannies. Nicole
Davis a nanny placed by
Choice
Care
wrote, “This is just a quick
note to write ‘Hi, I love my job.’ I’m
so blessed to be placed with such
beautiful people. It’s been the best
year of work I’ve ever experienced.
Thanks again.” Receiving notes
like this is one of the staff’s most
gratifying aspects of the job.
Choice Care
genuinely under-
stands the importance of finding
caregivers to foster the develop-
ment and growth of children. “I
feel fortunate that people have
allowed me to help them with their
most precious gifts,” said Julie.
Supposing the theatrics of the
traumatized nanny and rambunc-
tious child scenario exists off-
screen and you care to skip the
aggravation of finding a perfect
match, the dedicated staff at
Choice Care
will make the process
a lot less daunting. For more infor-
mation, you can find them online
at www.1choicecare.com.
