The other day I recalled a memo-
ry I had of myself as a child. The
memory was of visiting my Uncle
Joe and Aunt Mary’s farmhouse in
Sharon Springs, NY during the
autumn months. I absolutely
adored that farmhouse! While
there, I would tag along with my
much older siblings and cousins for
late-night tractor rides down unlit
country roads, passed graveyards
and haunted houses. I loved the
sense of adventure and the scari-
ness of it all especially while being
in the braid of their loving, protec-
tive company.
Another fun part was going out
for dinner with the adults. It felt so
cool being allowed to sit at the bar
with my parents as we waited for a
table. I would order a Coke and the
bartender would ask if I wanted
that straight up. I didn’t know what
he was talking about at the time
but I sure did get all shy and quiet.
Then my Aunt Mary would order a
Tom Collins, and I always won-
dered, “Who the heck is this guy
Tom?”
I loved the sound of the bottles
clinking, drinks being shaken, and
the sound the stirrer would make
as it pushed through the ice in the
glass. That was the sound of being
grown up I thought as I reached
forward and took a sip of my Coke
on the rocks.
Well…now I am actually all
grown up and the owner of

I am with you during every step
of the planning process. I consult
with you regarding what your
wine, beer, and spirit needs will be
as well as provide a complete list of
all the items required for your spe-
cial occasion. On the day of the
event I arrive in advance to set up
the bar then serve up delicious tast-
ing cocktails for your guests to
enjoy. At the end of the evening, I
break down the bar leaving you
with nothing at all to worry about.
