Without you, we would not be here celebrating our 53rd year. Chicken Holiday opened at the Bridgewa- ter location in 1968. What makes our chick- en stand out from our competitors is a number of things. Every piece of chicken is hand-breaded on the premises. We use larger chickens averaging 3 ¼- 3 ½ lbs. Our chick- en is cooked to order in a deep-fry pressure fryer us- ing cholesterol-free, zero trans-fat oil. Advantages to pressure frying is the chicken cooks at a faster pace keeping the moisture in the chicken which prevents the oil from getting in. Our cooking technique has been often imitated but you can be sure it will never be duplicated. Another signature trademark is our BBQ pork spare ribs which are also done from scratch on the premises. We boil the ribs then cut and trim them and then they are marinated in our own sauce be- fore being BBQ’d on the grill. Not to be out done is our buffalo wings. Our buffalo wings come already breaded with a spicy, peppery kick to them, and served dry and crunchy with hot sauce, bleu cheese, or ranch on the side. If you like your wings mild enjoy them just the way they are. For those who like them hot, we give you extra sauce on the side. We also offer chicken ngers or nuggets. A variety of seafood items are also available: shrimp, sh, clam strips and scallops. Our menu offers a wide variety of affordable meals, ranging from indi- vidual lunches and dinners to family packages and party plans. Every order gets the same person- al attention, whether it’s 2 pieces or 200 pieces. We also offer many side dishes to complete your meal such as french fries, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, corn on the cob, deep fried vegetables, mozzarella sticks, potato skins, coleslaw, potato sal- ad, macaroni salad, and many more.
