Working alongside colleague Erin Sullivan, Kohl’s goal was to offer incredible customer service and soup-to-nut tiling of- ferings. That includes everything from helping clients brainstorm ideas to selling unique, high-qual- ity tile and setting materials – all of which stand in stark contrast to the typical crowded and impersonal big box store experience. “Every client receives my full attention and I work as a problem solver if clients have special needs,” Kohl states. “I can even work hand-in-hand with their contractors to ensure everything is set the right way.” So, what’s it like to work with The Tile Lady designs by Christine ? Clients are sent home with samples to see what colors and materials work best in their home. Sometimes, options even push clients outside their comfort zone. Says Kohl, “I recently did a backsplash for someone who thought they wanted white subway tiles. Along with this sample, I sent her home with a beautiful sage-green crack- le arabesque tile. When she saw it against her countertops, she fell in love with it.” When it’s time to order, Kohl fulfills most materials in the showroom in 1-2 weeks. She can also help with rush jobs. “If some- one needs something quickly, I can often get it in faster because I’ve cultivated rela- tionships with numerous tile distributers and manufacturers over the years,” she states.
