DEAN’S NATURAL FOOD MARKET RAISES $10,000 FOR HOMETOWN HEROES SUPERSTORM SANDY RELIEF
Ocean Township, NJ – On the weekend of March 23rd and 24th, 2013, Dean’s Natural Food Market held Restore the Shore Weekend and donated a percentage of sales from all three of their stores to Hometown Heroes, a local non-profit organization partnered with Restore the Shore to provide relief and assistance to those affected by Superstorm Sandy. They reached their donation goal of $10,000, 100% of which goes to Hometown Heroes to assist storm-hit local families in need.
Restore the Shore is an ongoing effort established by Townsquare Media of New Jersey to assist local residents as they recover from the devastation wrought by Superstorm Sandy by creating awareness, gathering donations and raising funds for the relief effort at the Jersey Shore. They have partnered with Hometown Heroes, a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization based in Toms River, who specialize in providing need-based charitable assistance to local residents. 100% of all proceeds and all donations given will be put to work in coastal New Jersey, in the communities most affected by the storm.
