Christina Debarry is President Emeritus of the Pastel Society of America. In 2006, Debarry was “Guest Honoree” of the Art du Pastel en France. She is a Gold Medal recipient from Allied Artist of America and won a Gold Medal from Audubon Artists. In 2018, she received the prestigious PSA Award from Dixon Ticonderoga – value $1850.
She exhibited her pastel paintings at the Canton Museum of Art in Canton, Ohio, The Butler Museum in Youngstown, Ohio (April to July 2015 by invitation only).
Debarry also took part in a special, by invitation only, traveling exhibition in China in 2014.

Debarry is in the Who’s Who in American Art and is currently an elected member of the following additional arts organizations: Allied Artists of America- Treasurer ( previous vice-president), The Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, Audubon Artists, American Artist Professional League (Fellow) and the Hudson Valley Art Association. She has also been an elected full member of Pen and Brush, The Salmagundi Club, Artist Fellowship, International Assoc. of Pastel Societies (IAPS), former board member.
Teaching pastel workshops have taken Debarry to France, Mexico, Canada, Bermuda, and many states here in the USA. In 1997 she gave demos in China as a guest of the Chinese government.
