I have been drawing all my life.
Ever since I can remember, I have been doodling and drawing.
To the consternation of my teachers in grade school and high school, I was constantly drawing, in my notebooks, on the desk, on the book covers.
I never really received a formal art education as I was smart enough to drop out after a year at DuCret School of Art in North Plainfield. Bad mistake… kids, stay in school!
I do not belong to any art organizations. I don’t have a degree in art. I don’t teach or have online courses.
I’m really just a husband and a dad who paints!
If I would have to sum up what I feel about my art, it would be thus:
By the use of my art, I would like for people to focus their attention on the little things that we pass by, and overlook, every day.
I try to capture as best as I can the glory of God’s creation, whether it is a magnificent mountain range or a simple sunlit flower.
I would hope that my work would bring joy, peace and beauty to those who view it.
