Natalie Zurek is a senior at Watchung Hills Regional High School and is going to college at Temple University in the fall. She plans to major in visual arts, specifically graphic design, with a minor in computer science or marketing. Even though she wants to concentrate on graphic design, she enjoys making all different kinds of art, ranging from photography and fine arts to ceramics. In her free time, she can usually be found sketching or watching nature documentaries on Netflix. Her fascination with nature inspired her to choose “Fish” as her concentration for AP 2D Design. She has always been interested in the oceans and curious about what has yet to be discovered in them.
Natalie is glad to be going to college in the city, which has been a dream of hers for years. The city is where Natalie gains a lot of her inspiration, and her colorful and eclectic style can be attributed to that. She especially loves visiting art galleries in New York City and museums like the MOMA. In Philadelphia, where she will be going to college, she will be able to admire all of the vibrant street art and get inspired by the countless museums there. Natalie is especially excited to become a part of a fast-paced and evolving environment in which people are free to express themselves, which will inspire her even more!
