Mary Beth McAllister is a designer, illustrator & sculptor who has created Designer Showhouse rooms based on her fantasy botanical drawings. At Blairsden, Peapack, her French seed-packet sculptures sprouted from a mossy checkerboard garden balcony floor.
Galerie d’Orsay, Boston, offers Mary Beth’s original Les Gardiens du Jardin collection of gouache and ink drawings following her recent Artist-in-Residence. Her prints are for sale at James Yarosh Gallery, Holmdel, NJ.
Her sophisticated drawings en-compass all things French, gourmand garden, and delighting both children and adults. Mary Beth’s work hangs in private collections. She collaborates with interior designers, event planners and does custom drawings for events and products. Mary Beth’s pochette of notecards are for sale on her website, at Laura Clare in Bernardsville and Summit, and at Kitchen Arts and Letters, NYC. As a full time artist, Mary Beth says, “like my characters, I work for food!”
