Bridgewater, NJ – Bestselling author and screenwriter Delia Ephron will be the guest speaker at a Jewish LIFE special event on Wednesday, March 20 at 12 Noon. The program is open to the community and will be held at the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center, located at 775 Talamini Road in Bridgewater.
Delia Ephron is a bestselling author and screenwriter. Her movies include The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, You’ve Got Mail, Hanging Up (based on her novel), and Michael. She has written novels for adults and teenagers, books of humor, including How to Eat Like a Child, and essays. Her journalism has appeared in The New York Times, O: The Oprah Magazine, Vogue, More, and The Huffington Post. She collaborated with Nora Ephron on a play, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, which ran for two years off-Broadway and has been performed in cities around the world, including Paris, Rio de Janeiro and Sydney.
The Lion Is In is Ms. Ephron’s latest funny, heartfelt and honest novel. It is all about the big, wild, noble things in all our lives locked inside, waiting to break out. Books will be available for purchase and a book signing will follow the program. Advance registrations are recommended.
